What to do if you’re not at Call-on Congress this week
While today is full of green, tomorrow we plan to turn everything BLUE.
Whether you can’t make it to D.C. for personal or health reasons (or because we unfortunately sold out fast!) there’s still hope-
You can join us from HOME!
How to Join Call-on Congress LIVE
We know that while 150 advocates plan to be in the room with us for Call-on Congress (our biggest group yet!), there will be thousands more of you hoping to take action virtually.
If you’re one of those who will be advocating from your couch, chemo chair or cubicle – this is what we have lined up for you:
Live Streams
We will be live streaming several sessions virtually – you can watch in real-time and even comment and post questions. Leave a comment in the Facebook feed, or if you’re on Twitter, you can tweet with the hashtag #ConC2018!
Note: If you plan to watch the Facebook Live Streams, make sure to “follow” our page so you get notified the instant we go live.
Here’s the schedule for the live streams (all times are Eastern Standard Time (EST)). View the full agenda.

Hashtags & Photos
In addition to our live streams, you can follow along and participate in the event via our hashtag, #ConC2018. We’ll be posting from Twitter and Instagram, and encouraging our advocates to do the same. We hope you will post pictures and show us where you’re watching from! Post a #StrongArmSelfie while you’re at it!

Virtual Lobby Day
On March 20, we hope you’ll make plans to amplify the voices of our 150+ advocates on the Hill. As they sit in congressional offices for meetings with Hill staffers, will you help in these ways?
- Email your members of Congress – take action here
- Call your members of Congress – get the call script here
- Tweet at your members of Congress – tell them you’re a constituent & you want their support!
- Sign the petition (if you haven’t already!)
Research shows us that our members of Congress pay attention when a lot of people make a lot of noise around a certain issue (within the same timeframe). Please help us on Tuesday – we need your support!
More Advocacy, Please!
We are streaming LIVE so everyone has an opportunity to be a part of our community. You can make a difference during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month! If you haven’t yet, join our Advocates of Fight CRC Facebook group so you can get real-time updates.
Make sure you’re also registered as an advocate — this way you’ll get information all year long about when and how to take action, what’s happening in D.C. impacting colorectal cancer patients and when early bird registration opens up for our 2019 Call-on Congress (yes, we’re planning ahead already!).
